Here is the Doll House I gave to my 4 year old grand daughter for Christmas. What fun my husband and I had re-doing this for her…I hope she has as much fun playing with it.
Before:
I purchased the house at a garage sale for $4.00 several years ago. It was kind of a crummy little house made from a kit, but I loved the roof and it was in fairly good shape. It just needed some TLC!

I decided to do a “Beach House” because she loves the beach and we vacation there together in the summer (and she talks about it all year long). So this is Nonna and Sydney’s beach house. We will have fun adventures here I am sure.
After:
Because she is like any other 4 year old girl, she loves pink, so I painted the outside a pale pink with hot pink shutters; and why not?

Kitchen: I changed the Living Room into the Kitchen because I needed the space for the furniture and I am glad I did; it all fit.

Living Room: Long, skinny, and dark…just like my Living Room. We feel right at home here.

Bathroom:mirror is covered with shells from Florida

Bedroom: bunk beds for Nonna and Sydney, how fun.

I did not photograph the rest of the “family” but there is a brother, Momma and Daddy, and a Poppi..they will be our guests quite often, I am sure.
If you never had a Doll House as a child, why not make one for yourself! It’s a blast. Or make one for someone you love…I am already planning the next one for when Sydney gets older.
Love you Syd.
