Nancy and I had the pleasure of Staging a beautiful Victorian home recently (getting it ready for sale).  It is a Circa 1890 home, with many of it’s original features intact, which made it even more beautiful to me.  The home had plenty of furniture and accessories, so our task was to freshen-up a bit.  OK, so here we go!  I’ll start with just a few before pictures:

Master bedroom makeover:

We searched around the house for a “headboard” and found the perfect thing: a room divider!  So it got hauled in and we loved the result. We moved out the 2 arm chairs and moved in the love seat from the dining room. We brought in the bedside mirror from another place in the home: we added the long bedside mirror from our own stock and purchased a new white duvet cover; and with their purple pouf and pillow, it all came together.  And it always adds warmth to have some live plants!

We found some nice artwork and it looked great here; we moved out several of the scatter rugs because the room didn’t need them.

Ok, that room was done, onto the downstairs.

Living Room Makeover:

We brought in a navy rug from a bedroom to match the navy furniture and moved the grey club chairs to the other sitting area.  We accessorized and added birch branches.

We shuffled more rugs, chairs and accessories and it all came together nicely.  It helped to have such a beautiful setting and things to work with.

Dining Room Makeover:

Isn’t this simply gorgeous? We brought in one of the living room rugs, which really warmed up the room and created a pretty table scape using the owners things.  You will see that the love seat in the window is gone (to the bedroom) and we moved in the tea cart.

Now I will show you a couple of cute bathrooms that we Staged. We rearranged bath items and towels; added new pink hand towels, curtains (which are tea towels), and flowers.

In this one, we added some children’s items for fun; toys, a stool, a child’s dress and chapeau.

The children’s playroom was so fun on it’s own, we only straightened up, added the colorful rug, and changed the curtains.

We can’t leave the home without seeing the kitchen (which was almost perfect as is)  and  some outside shots.

We Staged the porch and added plants.

Thank you Nancy Weber for this opportunity.
