Hi all…I have been absent from the blog world for January. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying 2012!
Our family had to say good-bye again, this time to my mother. She passed in January, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. It is truly a horrible disease (but aren’t they all?)
I have missed her for many years now; her friendship, her laughter, her intelligence…
Remember to hug those you love!

Oh Margot, she is so beautiful, a real classic beauty! Her eyes and smile are so engaging. No wonder I have always seen you as one of the most elegantly beautiful women I know! Of course you miss her and all that she has meant to you your whole life. This is the season of profound “good-byes” for us. May the Lord grow us into a deeper anticipation and appreciation of our eternal home. Love you!

Martha, thank you. There is a time for every season…that is for sure. Saying good-bye to parents is not one of the fun ones, as you well know. But the memories are wonderful!
