This week we have finished the room! Back to the Antique store to finalize our purchases. Mindy spotted this shelf last time and wanted to “sleep on it”. This time it came home. In addition to this shelf and metal heart, we got a mirror, candle, lace hanky, bird’s nest and one more picture.
And now we put it all together in a Shabby Chic way (Mindy Style)
We stole this needlework (done by Mindy) from another part of the house. Perfect!

Mindy decided to keep this pretty maple dresser right here, so we hung the new picture, added the metal heart, a white pitcher and some other accessories.
This corner turned out so cute…we hung a painting done by her daughter’s friend when they were in the 2nd grade. The hook on the closet door is from Pier One. And I love the antique maple chair and hat.
Thanks Mindy for letting me help you with your project! I know that your guests will feel very cozy in this room.
