BEFORE: This bedroom had nice furniture but needed to move into the next decade of this girl’s life (at minimal cost).
AFTER: We removed the dated (ballerina) wallpaper boarder; painted Benjamin Moore “Snow White” throughout; re-arranged furniture; removed the canopy; removed the top shutters and added curtains; replaced bedside tables with round, metal ones; created a reading nook with a butterfly chair and pendant lamp.
Pre-teen and Womanhood Together!
Sometimes making small changes makes a huge impact. Even just moving furniture around makes it seem new again. This update was done at minimal cost (IKEA curtains, pendant lamp, tables) but was very satisfying to the pre-teen, and her mother!
