Even though the Christmas season is officially over as of today, January 1, I wanted to show my mother-in-law’s vintage glass ornaments. They were always on her tree, and now that she can no longer decorate her own tree, we have them on ours. We have wonderful memories of Christmas at her home and take pleasure having these simple treasures from her tree. (The gold ribbon was also hers and I usually surround the tree with it)

Happy New Year to All

Margot — You Rock!

I just got done perusing your site – very polished and professional.
I also have vintage ornaments from my childhood (i guess they are antiques…sigh…) – you’ve inspired me to take them out and photograph them.
keep up the good work!

Thanks Kathleen. Happy Photographing!
I have my neighbor’s glass ornaments in a Longaberger basket under the chair on which my 1950′s walking doll sits. I have my aunt’s smaller glass ornaments in a large Mason jar near my grandmother’s porcelain doll!
Thanks June. I see I am not alone in loving old ornaments. I like what you do with them! Happy New Year.
Antique glass ornaments are one of my biggest pleasures during the holidays. Thanks for sharing yours!
Glad to know someone else has the same simple pleasures!
